Murad Inoyatov, who not too successfully played at the domestic futures in Andijon and Namangan, has strengthened his tennis reputation with a success on a similar tournament in Culcatta.
In singles the Tashkent player was seeded fifth and one after the another defeated Indian Vikram Reddy (6/3, 6/4), Kamal Kannan (6/1, 6/0), Thai Kittifong Vachiramanovong (6/4, 6/0) and two representatives of the host country - Yuki Bhambri (4/6, 6/1, 7/5) and Karan Rastogi in the final - 6/4, 6/4.
Inoyatov also reached the final in doubles, where he played together with the Indian tennis player Yannick Nelord. But in the crucial match the second seeded pair of Vivek Shorin - Ashutosh Singh (both from India) were the better side - 6/4, 7/6(3).

Tennis players from ten countries competed in the traditional men's futures in Andijan. One of the veterans of Uzbek tournaments Russian Michail Elgin won in singles as he beat tennis player from Switzerland Adrien Bosselem - 6/4, 6/4 in the final. Elgin also played in the final of doubles competition in pair with Kazakh Alexey Kedryuk. And the duo was seeded first. But the second seeded duo of Aleksander Kudryavtsev of Russia and the representative of Ukraine Denis Molchanov did not allow Elgin to become the absolute winner. They fairly easily won the decisive match - 6/2, 6/1. For two dozens of Uzbek players, who played in qualification and the main grid, the tournament has become a good international tennis school. From Andijon tennis players went to a similar tournament in Namangan. 30.04.2010 By the material from the "Uzbekistan Today" Information agency
