Tennis players from ten countries competed in the traditional men's futures in Andijan.
One of the veterans of Uzbek tournaments Russian Michail Elgin won in singles as he beat tennis player from Switzerland Adrien Bosselem - 6/4, 6/4 in the final. Elgin also played in the final of doubles competition in pair with Kazakh Alexey Kedryuk. And the duo was seeded first. But the second seeded duo of Aleksander Kudryavtsev of Russia and the representative of Ukraine Denis Molchanov did not allow Elgin to become the absolute winner. They fairly easily won the decisive match - 6/2, 6/1.
For two dozens of Uzbek players, who played in qualification and the main grid, the tournament has become a good international tennis school.
From Andijon tennis players went to a similar tournament in Namangan.

The 30th ITF Juniors Tournament concluded on the tennis courts of the Republican School of Olympic Reserves
Alisher Daniyarov, UT
International tennis of Uzbekistan basically started with this tournament. And the fact that the anniversary competition of young players in our capital was won by Sabina Sharipova of Tashkent once again confirmed that the experience of three decades was not in vain.
The 15-year-old Sabina is already considered the second top female player of the country. However, she is not too far ahead of Nigina Abduraimova. Currently, the two girls are trying to increase their junior's rank in order to qualify to Singapore. Abduraimova, as is known, distinguished a week earlier in Namangan. In Tashkent the fellow countrywomen would only meet in the final if both were lucky. And local fans believed that this meeting is possible...
Sharipova, who was seeded fourth, perfectly handled with this task by beating Russian Evgeniya Svintsova (6/1, 6/3), Belarusian Lidziya Marozava (6/2, 7/5), Ukrainian Diana Bogoliy (seeded 8th - 6/2, 6/1) and another Belarusian player - Viktoria Kisialeva (seeded 7th - 6/1, 6/1). Unfortunately, Abduraimova (6th), who also started the tournament quite confidently, lost to the 1st seeded Russian Margarita Gasparyan in the semifinal in three sets. Gasparyan lost too much strength in this match and forfeited the tournament.
Sharipova became an absolute winner of the anniversary the tournament as she also won in the doubles competition in pair with Ekaterina Yashina from Russia. And here again there was no final match as it should had been Gasparyan to play in pair with Belarusian Natallia Vavulina, but she forfeited that match as well...
There was a great final match among boys between Belarusian Yaraslau Shyla and the representative of Ukraine Vladislav Manafov, second and sixth seeded players of the tournament. Only on the third tiebreaker the Belarusian tennis player managed to snatch away the win - 6/3, 2/6, 7/6(5). Out of 13 Uzbek players in the boys' main grid, the best result belongs to Artem Tarasov who reached the ? finals. Ukrainian players Maksim Malyshev and Vladislav Manafov won in doubles competition.
